1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mail Assist, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services. Mail Assist reserves the right to update or change these terms at any time, and your continued use of the app signifies your acceptance of such modifications.

2. Description of Services
Mail Assist is an AI-powered app designed to assist users in generating email responses based on their Gmail data and website information. The app offers three core flows:

Emails Only: Retrieves email addresses and domains from user-specified Gmail labels, generates embeddings, and drafts responses based on incoming emails.
Website Only: Extracts email addresses and domain information from user’s Gmail based on website data and generates email responses based on incoming emails.
Emails and Website: Combines the Gmail and website flows to generate responses.
All generated content is stored in the user’s Google Drive and generated responses are available as drafts in their Gmail account.

3. User Responsibilities
When using Mail Assist, you agree to:

Provide accurate input: You are responsible for providing accurate company details, website URLs, and any other requested information.
Manage your data: You are responsible for reviewing and managing the data selected or de-selected during the email and domain selection process. Mail Assist is not liable for any mismanagement of email threads or website data.
Grant necessary permissions: Mail Assist requires access to your Gmail account, Google Drive, and website data to function properly. You agree to provide the necessary permissions for the app to operate as intended.

4. Data Usage and Privacy
Mail Assist uses your Gmail account, Google Drive, and website data solely to provide its services. The app will:

Fetch email addresses and corresponding domains based on user-specified Gmail labels and/or website URLs.
Create and store email-related files and embedding data in your Google Drive.
Generate email responses using AI by matching incoming emails with previously stored embeddings.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or necessary to provide our services.

5. AI Response Generation
Mail Assist utilizes AI technology to generate email responses by interacting with external AI services, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT. While we strive to ensure the quality and relevance of the generated content, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of the responses. Users are advised to review and edit the AI-generated drafts before sending them.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Mail Assist is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

The app will meet your specific requirements.
The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
The results obtained from the use of the app will be accurate or reliable.
You assume full responsibility for the use of Mail Assist, including any risks associated with AI-generated content.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mail Assist and its developers shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the app, including but not limited to:

Loss of data or unauthorized access to your email or Google Drive.
Any errors or omissions in content generated by the app.
Delays or failures in the service, including those caused by third-party service providers (e.g., AI services, Google APIs).

8. User Content and Intellectual Property
All content generated by the app, including email responses, embedding files, and other output, is the property of the user. However, Mail Assist retains the rights to any proprietary code, algorithms, or technology used within the app.

9. Modifications and Termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the app or your access to the app at any time without notice for any reason, including violations of these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your data will remain in your Google Drive, but access to Mail Assist will be revoked.

10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of Mail Assist will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Province of Ontario, Canada
